“We leave something of ourselves behind when we leave a place. We stay there, even though we go away. And there are things in us that we can find again only by going back there. We travel to ourselves when we go to a place.” (Pascal Mercier, Night Train to Lisbon)

These words explain so well my relation with Lisboa. I fell in love with this beautiful city and its magical light in 2012 and since then I have come back whenever I could. 2013 I came back from Lisbon together with a little Portuguese Podengo girlie – Polly. We are dreaming of doing a road trip together – across Portugal.

On this blog I am sharing my love for Lisbon – where I love to drink a a little cup of Ginja while sitting next to one of the old quiosques, watching the people, reading, dreaming, writing, chatting.. eating chocolate…   living the “nâo corre” (do not run)..  😉

Apart from this I love to write about my passion for traveling and for animals, literature, beautiful things and inspirations for a healthy mindfully live.

Beijinhos, Iris
